About the brand

Temple® A Streetwear brand based in The Netherlands. 
Creating powerful designs inspired by all cultures around the world.

Starting with a huge passion for sneakers and the streetwear culture.

Ben started with a lot of Graphic Design assignments for multiple clients in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany & some in the UK.

Ben's passion was making Artwork for posters and music albums, especially in the Hip-Hop scene.

It became a success and later on he was displaying and selling Artwork on exhibitions in the Netherlands.

He got his inspiration from different cultures around the world. Especially in the Street and Music culture.

He takes lots of his inspiration from music lyrics and the vibes what the music gives him.

He never works without some good music in his ear. Particularly old-school Hip-Hop, Blues, Soul, Funk & Disco,

African Folk and all kinds of Rock such as Psychedelic, Indie and easy/mellow genres.

But in the end, Ben wants to add some of his work on clothes and other products.

He wants to show his love for the Streetwear culture in a different way. So, he started his own clothing brand named: "Temple".

“Back in de days when I was 22 years old, I visited a beautiful small temple.

It gave me a very powerful and inner peace feeling. I immediately started to create ideas in my head for a brand name and a couple logo designs.

I quickly grabbed my black book and pen that I always carry with me for writing down ideas.

I started to sketch multiply ideas in my "black book" for quite some hours.

My creativity and concentration level were on point in this magical temple. My head has never been clearer than that day.

So, I called my brand: Temple. A beautiful combination of the inner peace and calmness of my experience and a huge passion

and love for the Streetwear culture.”
